Detail:
  If E2ROMSupport is {FALSE} then the kernel fails to build due to the
    use a symbols that are only defined if E2ROMSupport is {TRUE}.  This
    is now fixed by stopping the symbols being used where they should not
    be (NVRAM and RTC related symbols).
